Amen to your last comment about Catholics and Protestants toeing the line together on moral issues! After working with pro-lifers/pro-abstinence until marriage non-profits in D.C. and Chicago, I couldn’t agree more. Those in the front lines are of the Catholic background. I think we, as Protestants, tend to shy away from the topic because we want our freedoms or don’t want to talk about controversial topics. Nothing could be more detrimental than not confronting these realities head on, having civil discourse, and moving forward to promote biblical values across the great Protestant/Catholic divide before our nation that is so desperately looking for leadership and consensus.
